Insomnia
Clinical hypnotherapy for insomnia with Dr. Tara Perry, Nashville and virtual worldwide.
Sleep is one of the first systems to break under chronic stress, and one of the first to come back when the subconscious gets a steady anchor. Start with the Sleep Anchor.
Signs this pattern is running
How insomnia tends to show up.
- Falling asleep exhausted, waking wired at 2 or 3am
- Racing thoughts the moment your head hits the pillow
- Sleep aids that stopped working or left you groggy
- Weekend catch-up sleep that never actually catches up
- Body tired, mind refusing to stand down
At a glance
Insomnia is rarely a sleep problem — it's a nervous system that hasn't been told it's safe to stand down. Dr. Tara's protocol resolves the subconscious bracing pattern keeping you awake, then installs a sleep anchor your body will reach for on its own.
The protocol
How hypnotherapy for insomnia works, step by step.
01
Find the bracing pattern
We locate the subconscious vigilance — usually a much older protection — that's keeping the body on watch through the night.
02
Install the sleep anchor
In hypnosis we install a new cue your nervous system associates with safety and shutdown. You take home a custom audio for nightly use.
03
Verify the new architecture
Final session confirms the pattern has held. Most clients sleep through by week three.

Who this is for
Is hypnotherapy for insomnia right for you?
Adults whose sleep broke during a specific chapter (a funding round, a diagnosis, a loss, a birth) and never fully repaired. Sleep hygiene and supplements have plateaued. You want the underlying watchfulness to end, not to be medicated around.
Your first visit
What to expect in session one.
Session one identifies what your subconscious is still standing guard against. In hypnosis we install the signal that it is safe to release the watch. You leave with a sleep-specific audio for the next twenty-one nights.

FAQ
hypnotherapy for insomnia, asked and answered.
Does the sleep audio replace medication?
For many clients, yes — over time, and ideally in coordination with the prescriber who put them on it.
What about 3am wake-ups specifically?
That signature wake is usually a cortisol pattern. The protocol addresses the subconscious driver directly.
Will I become dependent on the audio?
No. The audio is a training tool. Most clients keep it as a comfort but no longer need it within a few months.
Can we do this remotely?
Yes. The work is identical over video. Headphones and a quiet room are all you need.
