Clinical background
From acupuncture to subconscious work.
Dr. Tara Perry began her clinical career as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She does not practice acupuncture today. Here is why the training still matters, and what she does instead.
The training
Dr. Perry graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). She spent a decade on faculty there teaching clinical diagnostics and meridian theory, and served as inaugural faculty at UCLA's Arthur Ashe Center for Health Enhancement.
The training that shaped her clinical eye was not needles. It was the framework: read the whole system, find where the pattern originated, treat that layer instead of chasing symptoms.
The pivot
Twenty-eight years into clinical practice, one pattern kept surfacing. Clients with the best labs, the best regulation, the best support systems, would still fire the same reaction in week ten that they had fired in week one. The nervous system had been regulated. The subconscious pattern had not.
In 2014 she trained under Paul McKenna in clinical hypnotherapy and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), and under Dr. Richard Bandler in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The eastern diagnostic frame plus the western subconscious tools closed the loop she had been circling for twenty years.
What she does today
The current practice is Rapid Inner Transformation: three private, two-hour clinical hypnotherapy and subconscious reprogramming sessions across ninety days. In person in Nashville and Hendersonville, virtual worldwide. By application only.
The Chinese medicine training still shows up. It shows up in how she reads a nervous system before a session, in how she paces the arc across ninety days, in what she looks for when a pattern refuses to move. It does not show up as needles.
